Past Fund Raising Activities
AFGHAN RAFFLE
The third fundraising activitiy has an afghan raffle.
A beautiful afghan, made by Valarie's cousin, Lori Brittain, who lives in Hughesville, PA, with her mother (and Valarie's aunt) Wilma Brittain, was donated to Burns Memorial United Methodist Church to be raffled off.
Again, the response to this fundraiser was overwhelming. The afghan in high demand and over $1,000.00 was raised for the Jeff Kepner Hand Transplant Fund.
Thanks again to Lori and Wilma Brittain for their selfless contribution of time in making this beautiful afghan and thanks to all those to particiapted in making this another successful fundraiser.

RIFLE RAFFLE
The first of many fundraising efforts for the Kepners was a Rifle Raffle. This was a combined effort by Burns Memorial United Methodist Church and Valarie's co-workers at the Federal Correctional Institution in Edgefield, SC, who donated their free time to sell the tickets. Tickets were sold from Georgia to Pennsylvania.

The picture was taken in front of the National Wild Turkey Federation sign in Edgefield, SC. They helped to procur the rifle that was used in the raffle.
Thanks to everyone who helped. We were able to raise over $2700.00 towards the Jeff Kepner Hand Transplant Fund.

THE DINE-IN AT
O'CHARLEY'S, LOCATED AT THE CORNER OF WHEELER ROAD AND ROBERT C. DANIEL PARKWAY, IN AUGUSTA, GA, HOSTED A "DINE IN" ON TUESDAY, MARCH 31, 2009, FROM 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. THEY DONATED 10% FROM THEIR TAKE OF THE EVENING TO THE JEFF KEPNER HAND TRANSPLANT FUND, WITH ADDITIONAL DONATIONS ACCEPTED AT THE DOOR.
THIS FUNDRAISER WAS A TREMENDOUS SUCCESS WITH TOTAL OF $1,160.00 COMBINED BEING DONATED TO THE TRANSPLANT FUND.
WE WANT TO THANK O'CHARLEY'S, BURNS CHURCH, AND ALL OF THE KEPNER'S FRIENDS AND FAMILY THAT TURNED OUT TO SUPPORT THIS WONDERFUL CAUSE.
